Exclusive: Galaxy S10+ spotted in the wild. Confirms a lot of things

The SoyaCincau team is in San Francisco for the global launch of the Samsung Galaxy S10 happening on 20 February and just as we arrive, we’re greeted with this, a legit Galaxy S10+ spotted right in front of our very own eyes, in the wild!

What we saw confirms a lot. It confirms that the Galaxy S10+ has two front cameras nestled inside a larger punch-hole that’s located on the top right side of the display. It doesn’t look that bad. From my observations, the purported 6.4-inch display size is pretty much confirmed as well.

Several very convincing leaks indicate that the dual front cameras will feature a 10MP f/1.9 selfie unit and an 8MP unit. Apparently, the front camera will be able to record videos in 4K format.

You can also see that the interface has been adapted to make room for the punch hole where the network and connectivity icons you typically see on the top right corner has now been relocated closer towards the centre of the device.

Najib from SoyaCincau BM managed to catch a peek of the back of the device and he confirms that the Galaxy S10+ will indeed feature a triple camera setup like many of the leaks are saying. It won’t be long now until everything about Galaxy S10 series is revealed. Samsung has scheduled a global launch event in San Francisco on 20 February and you can bet that we will be there to bring you all the latest.

The Galaxy S10+ features a 6.4-inch Quad HD (2560×1440) punch-hole display with a dual front camera setup. In the rear, expect a triple camera setup with 12MP f/1.5 dual-aperture main camera, a secondary 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle shooter with a 123-degree field of view and a 12MP f/2.4 telephoto camera, both 12MP cameras will have optical image stabilisation.

The Galaxy S10+ should also feature wide-angle video recording, improved video stabilisation and support for HDR10+ recording. There’s also 960fps super slow-mo in 1080p resolution (the Galaxy S9 shoots 960fps in 720p) and AI assistance that adapt the camera’s settings to match the scene that you’re capturing.
