This is probably the biggest leak yet for the Samsung Galaxy S10 series. We’ve already seen countless of leaks of the exterior and now the folks at GSMArena have managed to get their hands on what appears to be the full spec sheet for the latest Galaxy S10 trio.
Display
According to the document, the Galaxy S10 will come with a 6.1″ display while the Galaxy S10+ gets a larger 6.3″ screen. Both are listed with a Quad HD+ resolution of 3040×1440 pixels in
The Galaxy S10 will feature an Infinity-O AMOLED display where the selfie camera is placed as a cut-out on the top right corner of the screen. The Galaxy S10 and S10+ are listed with Gorilla Glass 6 while the S10e gets a Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Processor, RAM and storage
Across the board, all three models will be powered by an Exynos 9820 processor and it comes with at least 6GB of RAM. For specific markets like the US, Samsung will be utilising Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855. Below are the spec options available for the entire range:
Galaxy S10e
6GB RAM + 128GB storage
8GB RAM + 256GB storage
Galaxy S10
6GB RAM + 128GB storage
8GB RAM + 512GB storage
Galaxy S10+
6GB RAM + 128GB storage
8GB RAM + 512GB storage
12GB RAM + 1TB storage
For all 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM models, there are three colour options available – Prism White, Prism Green and Prism Black. For the Galaxy S10e, it comes with an additional Canary Yellow option, while the 12GB RAM Galaxy S10+ is offered only in Luxurious Ceramic Black and Ceramic White.
Cameras
Both the Galaxy S10 and S10+ are getting a triple-camera setup. It has a 12MP f/1.5 main camera with variable aperture, a secondary 12MP f/2.4 telephoto camera and a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle shooter. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S10e comes with a dual-camera setup consisting of a 12MP 1/.5 main camera with variable aperture and a secondary 16MP f/2.2 camera for ultra-wide-angle.
All three devices get a 10MP f/1.9 selfie camera, however, the S10+ gets a dual-camera selfie setup with an extra 8MP f/2.2 shooter. The main selfie camera has dual-pixel autofocus and is capable of shooting 4K videos. You can learn more about the expected camera features here.
Fingerprint sensor
The Galaxy S10 and S10+ will utilise an in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint scanner which is supposedly better than typical in-display sensors found on other smartphones. It scans your fingerprint in 3D for better security. For the Galaxy S10e, it will get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor which doubles up as a power button.
Battery and charging
Matching earlier rumours, the Galaxy S10+ will get a larger 4,100mAh battery while the regular S10 gets a 3,400mAh unit. Meanwhile, the affordable and compact S10e is listed with a 3,100mAh battery. All three charges via USB-C and they also support reverse wireless charging, where you can use your phone to charge other compatible devices.
While the leaked document looks convincing, there are a couple of typos and mistakes like labelling the S10e’s display as QHD+ despite the pixel resolution size is actually closer to Full HD. The full official details will be revealed next week.
