Samsung has started Galaxy S10 pre-orders in the Philippines with loads of freebies

It looks like Samsung is very eager to push its Galaxy S10 to the market. In the Philippines, Samsung has already started offering pre-orders for their 10th-anniversary flagship smartphone with up to PHP30,698 (about RM2,397) worth of freebies. The pre-order page has also revealed a couple of interesting details especially the Galaxy S10+ Limited Edition.

Samsung Philippines has set up a special early pre-order page where you can secure a unit with a PHP2,000 (about RM156) booking fee. Once you’ve logged in, the page shows four different options. Based on the illustration, we can tell that Option A and B are the Galaxy S10+, Option C is the Galaxy S10 and Option D is the Galaxy S10e that has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the top right of the device.

Interestingly, Option A is listed to be available on 15th March 2019 while the rest will be available for collection beginning 1st March, according to the T&C. The Limited Edition Galaxy S10+ is expected to be the most premium option with a ceramic back and it comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

In terms of free gifts, the Galaxy S10+ Limited Edition is offered with a mystery box worth PHP 28,499 (about RM2,226), a HDMI adapter worth PHP 2,199 (about RM171), a 30-day nanofixit screen insurance and a 10% off voucher for selected tablets and wearables. There’s no mention of the content of the Mystery Box but we are guessing that it could be the new smartwatch and the wireless earbuds which can be charged wirelessly.

For the other three models, pre-order customers are given a choice between a Mystery Box that’s worth up to PHP 13,499 (about RM1,054) or a store voucher worth up to PHP 7,000 (about RM546). In addition, Samsung is also bundling either a HDMI adapter or a battery pack for the regular S10+, S10 and S10e models.

The early blind pre-order promo starts from 8th February until 17th February 2019. Overall, it is quite an interesting offer considering Samsung hasn’t reveal its official pricing. It’s worth highlighting that the pre-order page isn’t linked from the main Samsung Philippines website, so this could be offered only for selected customers.

The Galaxy S10 launch is happening at San Francisco next week on the 20th February 2019. The event will be streamed live at 3am Malaysian Time on 21st February 2019 and we expect Samsung to reveal its local pre-order deals right after the event. Samsung Malaysia is usually generous with its flagship model launches and they would usually offer cash rebates or a significant amount of freebies for early bird customers.
