#khabarbaik: You can now get a Unifi Mobile prepaid SIM with 10GB of LTE data for free

Just right before the Chinese New Year holidays, TM has announced another #khabarbaik for Unifi Mobile. The Unifi Mobile #bebas plan is now offered with additional 8GB of free data. That’s a total of 10GB of data that you can enjoy for free when you sign up for the free SIM card.

To recap, Unifi Mobile #Bebas is a prepaid plan that will never expire provided that you keep your line active. This can be done by ensuring there’s data, call or SMS usage every 90 days.

You can sign up for a free sim by registering for an account with the Unifi Mobile app which can be downloaded via AppStore or Google Play. You can collect it for free at your nearest TM outlet or you can have it delivered to you for a fee of RM10.60.

With the SIM, you’ll get 10GB of LTE data, plus 10 minutes of calls and 10 SMS which are applicable to all networks. As stated in the FAQ, the bundled 10GB of data is only for 4G LTE use only. If you need to use it when your connection drops to 3G, you’ll have to purchase an add-on for more 4G + 3G data.

This extra 8GB data offer is available from now, 1st February until 31st March 2019. The FAQ also mentions that one IC number is only eligible for 1 SIM card.

On top of that, there’s also the unlimited Unifi Mobile #Bebas add-on where you can get 30-days unlimited data for RM55. However, do note that this is also valid only on their 4G LTE network. This unlimited data add-on plan will be available only from 1st to 10th February 2019.
