City Broadband offers unlimited 50Mbps Fibre Broadband for RM79/month

Jasin residents are spoilt for choice with TNB’s broadband pilot project. Among the retail service providers available, City Broadband is offering 50Mbps broadband for as low as RM79/month and you can get up to 1Gbps speeds for less than RM200/month.

There are a total of four fibre broadband options available that are offered with unlimited quota. It also comes with symmetrical speeds, which means that you’ll get the same upload speeds as downloads. Below are the fibre broadband plan options:

50Mbps – RM79/month
100Mbps – RM99/month
500Mbps – RM139/month
1Gbps – RM199/month

The plans come with dynamic IP and they are tied with a 24-month contract. There’s also a 12-month contract option but you are required to pay a one time charge of RM300. This is somewhat similar to Time Broadband.

The base 50Mbps plan at RM79/month is very affordable when compared to other broadband providers. As a comparison, Celcom offers unlimited 40Mbps at RM80/month while Unifi offers 30Mbps at RM79/month but with a limited 60GB quota. Meanwhile, Maxis offers unlimited 30Mbps for RM89/month and Time is offering unlimited 100Mbps at RM99/month.

If you need to make phone calls, you can add an additional RM20 to get a line and a phone. Voice calls are charged at RM0.08 per minute.

Apart from Jasin in Melaka, City Broadband is also available in Cyberjaya. For more info, you can check out their official website.
