Yoodo has just notified its subscribers that data roaming will not be available for the iPhone that runs on the latest iOS 12.1.2 update. The software update was rolled out a few days before Christmas and it was reported to be causing connectivity issues for customers worldwide.
According to Yoodo, they have notified Apple about the problem and they are still working on a solution. They recommend customers on iPhones to not update their device to iOS 12.1.2 until a solution is found. They also added that customers will still be able to perform voice calls and SMS if they are on iOS 12.1.2.
The latest iOS update was supposed to fix connectivity issues for users in Turkey as well as eSIM activation on the latest iPhone trio. However, several users have complained from not having any mobile signal to difficulty in connecting to WiFi.
It has been about three weeks since iOS 12.1.2 was rolled out and Apple has yet to push a fix to solve this issue. To ensure that your device doesn’t auto-update, you can go to Settings > General > Software Update and disable Automatic Updates.
