Xiaomi expected to launch the Mi MIX 3 in Malaysia soon

The Mi MIX 3 is an all-screen flagship smartphone that comes with a slider mechanism. If you don’t want to pick up a grey import unit, the Mi MIX 3 has just received the green light from SIRIM. This is an indication it could go on sale very soon.

On SIRIM’s certification database, a new Xiaomi smartphone with the model number M1810E5A was listed on 4th December 2018. This is one of the variants spotted on China’s 3C regulatory website. So far there are no official dates on the actual Malaysian release and there’s a chance that it could go on sale locally before the Christmas week.

To recap, the Mi MIX 3 has a 6.39″ Super AMOLED display that pushes a Full HD+ resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. It is powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor with either 6GB, 8GB and 10GB of RAM along with storage options of up to 256GB.

Unlike the previous models, the Mi MIX 3 has a manual slider mechanism which houses 24MP + 2MP selfie cameras and a 12MP f/1.8 + 12MP f/2.4 telephoto camera combo at the rear. Keeping the lights on is a 3,200mAh battery and it also supports Qi Wireless charging.
