Huawei Y Max Malaysia

If you want a smartphone with a big screen and a huge battery, the Huawei Y Max is now available in Malaysia. This is a Mi Max 3 contender as it comes with a huge 7.12″ display and it is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery.

The Huawei Y Max is officially priced at RM1,299 and it comes in either midnight black or amber brown for its faux leather back. If you order from 10 to 12 December 2018, Huawei is bundling a Huawei Y Max Flip cover (worth RM78), a Huawei AM116 earphone (worth RM48) and a Huawei A2 Band (worth RM169).

If you’re interested, you can place your order on Huawei’s online store.

In terms of specs, the Y Max features a 7.12″ Dewdrop IPS Display with a tiny notch that offers a Full HD+ resolution. It runs on a rather capable mid-range Snapdragon 660 processor and for Malaysia, we’re getting the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant that’s also expandable via microSD.

The device comes with a 16MP + 2MP rear camera with smart AI features while the front comes with an 8MP selfie shooter. Keeping the lights on is a huge 5,000mAh battery which still charges via microUSB. Out of the box, it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI skin on top.
