Yoodo

Yoodo, the customisable telco service has announced that they will be supporting e-SIM very soon. This will allow customers to subscribe to Yoodo without requiring a physical SIM card.

A number of new smartphones which include the iPhone XS, iPhone XR, Xiaomi Mi 8 and OPPO R17 Pro are able to support e-SIM. When we asked Yoodo on its availability, they told us that they are still working on getting the experience right and they hope to introduce the e-SIM feature in the first half of 2019.

Apart from that, Yoodo is also introducing a couple of new features based on feedback received from their community. For payments, they will be adding an online banking feature on top of it’s current debit/credit card and PayPal options.

When it comes to calls and data, Yoodo will be offering cheaper add-ons via Flexi Boosters. Unlike the current booster add-ons, these Flexi Boosters will get cheaper as you get closer to the end of your billing cycle.

Also in the pipeline is data sharing, which allows you to share data across different Yoodo accounts. The new features were revealed during Yoodo’s first ever Community Meet-up Day and they are expected to roll out in the months to come.
