UPDATE: Huawei Y Max is now available in Malaysia at RM1,299.
Yesterday, Huawei Malaysia had dropped a teaser for a large screen smartphone that comes with a huge 7.12″ display. The device is expected to be available next week in conjunction with the upcoming 12.12 sales.
In case you’re wondering, the new device is the Huawei Y Max and you can pre-order a unit starting 10th December.
According to an email sent by Huawei, the Y Max will be available exclusively on the Huawei Online Store. If you pre-order from 10 to 12 December, they are bundling additional free gifts. From the picture above, it looks like they are giving away a sports band, a pair of earphones and a folio case.
According to the product page, the Huawei Y Max will come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and it’s available in either Midnight Black and Amber Brown.
The Huawei Y Max is already on sale in Thailand and based on their spec-sheet, it comes with a 7.12″ Full HD+ display and a Snapdragon 660 processor. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery. We expect Huawei to reveal the Malaysian pricing very soon.
