The OnePlus 6T McLaren special edition may get 10GB of RAM and possibly a striking orange colour

Earlier, we mentioned that OnePlus is working with McLaren to produce a very special limited edition version of the OnePlus 6T, the device is expected to make its debut on December 11th. Today, we are provided with more clues about the device in the form of a very special looking invite which strongly suggests the possible colour of the upcoming special edition OnePlus 6T.

The invite itself is presented in a black stylish concertinaed box. Once the box is opened, you are greeted with an orange paperwork alongwith  the invite, which takes the form of an orange lanyard.

Carrying the tagline “salute to speed”, the McLaren OnePlus 6T is expected to come with a number of performance goodies worthy of flagship device that bears the McLaren name, possibly a whopping 10GB of RAM. In comparison, the top-of-the-line standard OnePlus 6T comes with 8GB of RAM.

OnePlus has been making custom editions of its smartphones over the years, having previously launched a Star Wars edition of their OnePlus 5T as well as an Avengers edition on its OnePlus 6.

In Malaysia, the top configuration of the standard OnePlus 6T (8GB RAM/ 256GB storage) carries a price tag of RM3,099. While there are no details on the price of the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, you can imagine that it will command a premium over the standard edition.
