Welcome to the all-new SoyaCincau.com

We’ve been through a lot over the years. From major smartphone launches and comprehensive mobile network coverage, to detailed buyer’s guides and the kind of hard-hitting opinion pieces we think our industry desperately needs. And, for the most part, we do all of this in the pursuit of cultivating a more informed society.

But, we also do this because we love it. We’re passionate about what we do and we always strive to produce the kind of content we would want to consume if we were in your position. Sure, I’ll be the first to admit that not everything ends up a slam dunk, but we definitely poured our hearts into each and every piece that gets published on this website.

That said, while we’ve been hard at work churning out the kind of quality content we think is worth consuming, we’ve also been working hard in the background. You see, this website’s layout has been around for some time now, and I have to say that it’s not ageing particularly well. That’s why, as you might have noticed by now, we’ve thrown on a fresh coat of paint. An all-new look that’s also somewhat familiar. And the best part? We’ve only just begun.

Welcome, dear readers, to the all-new SoyaCincau.com.

First thing’s first, the SoyaCincau that you know and love, it’s still here. We’ve still got the same quality team — plus a few new faces — so you’ll still be getting everything you enjoy about SoyaCincau right here. The only difference is that we’ve now got a fresh new look and a couple of new features that we hope you’ll like. Let me give you a quick tour of our new remodeled home.

The big changes

We’ll start at the home page. This is the first page you land on when you go to SoyaCincau.com. While it may look a little different — and we hope, a lot better — the home page is still fundamentally the same. Our stories are still arranged in a chronological order so you will still see the latest posts right at the top.

But, if you look at the bar at the top, just above our stories, you’ll notice that there’s now a “Trending” section. As its name would suggest, this is where all the trending topics and devices will live. Got a big new smartphone launch? Odds are, you’ll be able to find all our coverage of that brand new phone right there at the top. Did TM just change their Unifi plans again? Well, everything you need to know about will also accessible from the Trending section. It’s sort of like a curated list of what is hot right now, and what we think you would want to know about.

This is probably the biggest functional change with this new layout, and we hope you’ll like it as much as we do.

To foster a more accountable audience, we’ve also implemented a brand new commenting system powered by Disqus. With this, we’re doing away with anonymous commenting, so it should make for more constructive discussions in the future. Yes, you will have to create new accounts with Disqus (you can login with Facebook), or use an existing Disqus account if you have one, but we believe this change is necessary for the future of SoyaCincau.

The aesthetics

The rest is more about aesthetics. Everything now scales better with your window size, and we’ve got the same look and feel both on Mobile and Desktop so you’ll be getting pretty much an identical experience. Individual news articles have also been given a visual revamp so they’re more comfortable to read. Head into a review or feature, however, and you’ll be greeted with a brand new full-width layout that we’re super excited about. Although the experience is best enjoyed on the desktop, we think this will make reading our reviews more enjoyable than ever. And we hope you like it too.

So those are the major changes we’ve made to the first iteration of this brand new look for SoyaCincau.com. Like I said at the beginning of this article, this is just the beginning for us and you can expect to see more changes drop in the near future. For now, we’re just really excited to share what we’ve done so far, with you. After all, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do best if it wasn’t for the awesome support you’ve shown us over the years.

As big of a change as this may be for you, know that it is an even bigger one for us. Of course, as with almost everything we do here, we’d love to hear your thoughts on this new design and layout. And, if you encounter any bugs, please let us know so we can get that sorted as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we hope you like the new SoyaCincau look, and we hope you’re just as excited as we are for the future as we try to make our site even better.
