1,000 Unifi customers in Kajang affected by fibre cable vandalism

About 1,000 Unifi customers in Kajang are currently facing service interruptions due to faulty and missing cables near Unifi’s Kajang node. Restoration works are currently in progress.  

According to Unifi’s tweet, this appears to be an act of vandalism and they had to replace missing fibre cables. Repairs are still underway and they will provide more updates on their social channels. Below are photos taken from the affected location.
