Samsung will launch its Galaxy S10 sometime in February next year with an expected total of 3 models in the initial phase. Before it gets Unpacked, one of the Galaxy S10 variants with the model number SM-G975F has appeared on Antutu benchmarks. The numbers do look promising.
Looking at the device model number, this is likely to be the Galaxy S10+ that’s powered by the latest 8nm based Exynos 9820 Octa-core processor with 6GB of RAM. According to Antutu, this specific model had scored 325,076, which is the highest at the moment for Android smartphones. Based on Antutu’s current listing, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro had scored 309,628 while the ASUS ROG Phone scored 297,078 points.
If you compare that with Apple’s latest flagships, the Galaxy S10 is still behind by about 30,000 points. The iPhone XS scored 352,406 on the iOS version of Antutu while the iPhone XR did 334,365. Both models are running on Apple’s new A12 Bionic chip.
For Malaysia, we are likely to get the Exynos 9820 variant of the Galaxy S10 series. There’s also a Snapdragon variant (likely Snapdragon 8150) but that will be available only in selected markets like the US.
