The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is the first smartphone to feature four cameras at the back. It was announced last month and the device is finally going on sale in Malaysia this week.
Samsung will be kicking off its Galaxy A9 Roadshow in Malaysia from 23 to 25 November 2018. It will take place in 1 Utama Petaling Jaya, Gurney Plaza Penang and City Square Johor.
The pricing for the device isn’t revealed yet but in Singapore, the Galaxy A9 (2018) is priced at S$728 (about RM2,222). Early bird customers can get RM783 worth of freebies at the roadshows. This include JBL GO2 wireless speakers, 128GB microSD card, 10,000mAh Fast Charge power bank, screen protection plan, TGV Movie tickets and 3 months of Spotify Premium.
To recap, the Galaxy A9 (2018) has a 6.3″ Full HD+ Super AMOLED display and it is powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor. For Malaysia, we are getting the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant which is still expandable via microSD card.
The key highlight of course is its quad-camera setup at the rear. It has a 24MP f/1.7 main camera, a 10MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with 2X optical zoom, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view and a 5MP shooter for depth of field effects.
