HTC U12 Life is now available for pre-order in Malaysia

HTC still makes mid-range smartphones and the latest model is the U12 Life. From the rear, it looks like a cross between an iPhone X and a Pixel 2 with its two-tone Liquid Surface back design.

If you’ve been waiting for a new HTC device, the U12 Life is coming to Malaysia at the end of this month. You can pre-order it starting today with additional freebies while stocks last.

According to retailer Mobile2Go, the HTC U12 Life with HTC Malaysia warranty is officially priced at RM1,399. As a pre-order promo, it will come with an exclusive gift box that contains a 10,000mAh powerbank, HTC Travel Kit and a lanyard.

The HTC U12 Life features a 6″ full HD+ (2160×1080 pixels) display without a notch and it is powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor. It has 4GB of DDR4x RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.1 storage. If you need more, it also accepts microSD card expansion.

Upfront, it has a 13MP f/2.0 selfie camera that has HDR and beautification features, while the rear gets a 16MP f/2.0 + 5MP dual-camera combo. The camera has depth of field effects and it can shoot videos in 4K.

Powering the U12 Life is a 3,600mAh that charges via USB-C with a standard 5V 2A adapter. If you prefer to use your existing headphones, it does come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Out of the box, it runs on Android 8.1 with HTC Sense UI skin on top.

If you’re interested, you can pre-order starting today from Mobile2Go. Stocks are expected to arrive on 27 November 2018.
