Digi is offering the iPhone XS with free upgrade and device protection from RM170/month

Digi is now making it easier for you to own the latest iPhone with no upfront payment. With the all-new Digi Phone Freedom 365 programme, you are able to get your hands on the iPhone XS from RM170/month, the iPhone XS Max from RM187/month and the iPhone XR from RM117/month.

The Digi Phone Freedom 365 is a new device programme which is somewhat similar to Maxis’s Zerolution 360. This allows you to “rent” the latest flagship devices by paying monthly instalments for a period of up to 2 years.

You might be wondering, what’s so great about this programme. Like I’ve mentioned before there are zero upfront payment and no interest rate charges. Just pay the device’s instalment amount and your subscription fee each month and you are good to go. Besides that, there’s also an added comprehensive protection called the Digi Shield which covers you from theft and damages. Digi Shield protection is offered as an optional add-on.

Interestingly, you are able to exchange the old phone with a brand new device at no upgrade fee imposed from month 18-24. Once you’ve completed the 17th payment without any outstanding bills, you may exchange your old phone and select your new device when you upgrade. The only requirement is that you are required to return your current device in good condition.

But here’s a catch. This programme is only eligible for those who have been a Digi Postpaid customer for a minimum of 6 months. On top of that, only customers with good payment history are eligible to apply for this programme.

If you do not like iPhones, you can also opt for other flagship devices, such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Huawei P20 Pro and so much more.

Do note that once you’ve agreed to upgrade your old device to a new phone under this programme, Digi will not return the old phone back to you.
