You can pre-order the iPhone XS and XS Max from Apple Malaysia starting this Friday

The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are officially coming to Malaysia very soon. If you’re looking for an official Malaysia unit with local warranty, Apple Malaysia is now accepting pre-orders for the iPhone XS on their online store at the end of this week.

The iPhone XS and XS Max are officially priced as follows:

iPhone XS 64GB – RM4,999
iPhone XS 256GB – RM5,699
iPhone XS 512GB – RM6,649

iPhone XS Max 64GB – RM5,399
iPhone XS Max 256GB – RM6,099
iPhone XS Max 512GB – RM7,049

Our iPhone XS local pricing is quite similar to Singapore and overall, it’s is priced lower compared to the iPhone X when it was first released in Malaysia last year. The base iPhone XS with 64GB storage can be yours just a hair below RM5,000 while the top of the line iPhone XA Max with 512GB of storage is going for RM7,049, which is the most expensive iPhone yet to hit the Malaysian market.

Interestingly, the official pricing matches what 11street had offered for official Malaysian units last month. Meanwhile, you can also find cheaper offers for import sets and some retailers are offering the iPhone XS 64GB for less than RM4,500.

The iPhone XS is an incremental updated of last year’s iPhone X. It retains the same 5.8″ Super Retina HD display but it comes with a more powerful A12 Bionic chip with 4GB RAM and a new dual-camera sensor that offers larger pixel size and improved HDR performance. Meanwhile, the iPhone XS Max is their large screen option with a 6.5″ display. The iPhone XS also offers stereo audio recording as well. You can learn more in our announcement post or in our recap videos below:

If you’re interested, you can place your pre-order from Apple Malaysia’s online store this coming Friday, 19 October 2018 at 3.01pm. Stocks are expected to be available the following Friday, 26 October 2018. Apart from Apple, you can also get the iPhone XS via telcos and authorised resellers. The iPhone XR is also available for pre-order starting this Friday from RM3,599.
