You can book the PROTON X70 online starting 17 October

The Proton X70 is expected to roll out by end of this year. After it had started accepting bookings via Proton showrooms, the Malaysian car maker is adding a new online channel to make it easier for more Malaysians to book the new SUV.

For those who can’t visit their nearest Proton 4S or 3S outlets, customers can book the X70 and pay the RM1,000 deposit online via Proton’s website beginning 17 October. A Proton representative will contact you within a week after the booking is made. To entice more bookings, Proton is also giving away special gifts for those who book during the first three days.

The official pricing for the Proton X70 isn’t revealed yet but it will come in four different variants – the base Standard model with 2WD, an Executive spec that comes in both 2WD and 4WD, and a range topping Premium model that only comes with 2WD.

In terms of features, only the Premium 2WD model comes with advanced driver assistance system which include Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Front Collision Warning (FCW), Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) and Intelligent High Beam Control. The premium model is the only version that comes with power seats for both front occupants and a sunroof.

In terms of interior, the base Standard model gets black fabric seats while the Executive variant gets black leather seats. For the Premium model, you’ll get brown Nappa leather.
