You can pre-order the iPhone XS from under RM4,500

UPDATE: GoShop has reached out to us and they have confirmed that these iPhone XS units are from Hong Kong.

The iPhone XS and XS Max are coming very soon to Malaysia. While Apple has not announced its pricing and availability for our local market, 11street have started offering pre-orders for official Apple Malaysia units. Now another e-commerce platform, GoShop, has also jumped on the bandwagon and you could get an iPhone XS from as low as RM4,489.20 for the base 64GB model.

On GoShop, the iPhone XS and XS Max are priced as follows:

iPhone XS 64GB – RM4,988
iPhone XS 256GB – RM5,688
iPhone XS 512GB – RM6,688

iPhone XS Max 64GB – RM5,488
iPhone XS Max 256GB – RM6,188
iPhone XS Max 512GB – RM7,288

If you use the “THANKYOU10” coupon that you can download from each respective product pages, you can enjoy an additional 10% discount. This means, you can get the iPhone XS 64GB for RM4,489.20 instead of RM4,988 while the iPhone XS Max 512GB can be yours at RM6,559.20 instead of RM7,288. This is the most affordable iPhone XS offer we’ve seen so far and it’s significantly lower than import sets.

GoShop doesn’t disclose the retailer that’s fulfilling the iPhone XS pre-order but it does mention that it’s covered by 1 Year Apple Malaysia Warranty. All 3 colours are available – Gold, Silver, Space Grey.

What’s interesting is that the estimated time of arrival is 15 October which is just two weeks away. As a comparison, 11street’s iPhone XS pre-order estimates that their iPhone XS will ship beginning 26 October 2018. It’s also worth pointing out that GoShop’s pricing is slightly different from 11street’s listing with some models costing slightly less while models like the iPhone XS Max 512GB is priced significantly higher.

Looks like we won’t have to wait too long before the iPhone XS and XS Max are released officially in Malaysia. Both devices have passed our SIRIM certification and our major telcos have also started teasing the device on their respective websites. For more info on the device, check out our videos below or read our recap post on the iPhone XS, XS Max and iPhone XR.

Thanks to our tipster for the heads up!

UPDATE: It seems that there’s conflicting information on the iPhone XS stocks. We’ve called GoShop’s customer service and they told us that these are Malaysian sets, however, one of their FAQ states that these units are originating from Hong Kong. We have reached out to GoShop’s customer service for further clarification and we are waiting for their response.

UPDATE 2: GoShop has reached out to us and they have confirmed that these units are from Hong Kong.
