You don’t have to wait until next week to get your hands on Huawei’s top of the line selfie-centric smartphone. Initially scheduled for 17 August release in Malaysia, you can buy the Nova 3 earlier on Saturday, 11 August 2018.

The first Huawei Nova 3 sale is taking place at Huawei’s Experience Store at Pavilion Elite in KL. From the banner above, it looks like only red will be offered for now.

The Huawei Nova 3 is officially priced at RM1,899 and it’s quite a step up from the mid-range Nova 3i. Although it looks similar, the Nova 3 gets a 3D glass back design while the front comes with a similar 6.3” Full HD+ IPS display.

Instead of a mid-range Kirin 710 processor, the Nova 3 gets a flagship class Kirin 970 unit that comes with a dedicated NPU for AI oriented tasks. It has 6GB RAM and a large 128GB of storage.

In the camera department, the Nova 3 has a 16MP RGB + 24MP Monochrome dual camera setup at the back with an f/1.8 aperture lens, while the front comes with a 24MP + 2MP selfie shooter. Powering the Nova 3 is a larger 3,750mAh battery which charges via USB-C. It also comes with microSD card expansion as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.
