ASUS Malaysia will announce a special ZenFone 5z offer at 3PM today

ASUS is finally introducing their ZenFone 5z flagship smartphone in Malaysia. It will be announced officially this afternoon and they are expected to reveal an exclusive launch offer with Lazada Malaysia.

The ZenFone 5z launch event is happening live on their official Facebook page at 3PM today. As an added bonus, live stream viewers will stand to win prizes from ASUS Malaysia.

To recap, the ASUS ZenFone 5z comes in two spec variants for Malaysia. The base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at RM1,899, while the range topping 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at RM2,299. That’s already good value and there’s a possibility that you can save more during flash sales like its mid-range ZenFone Max Pro.

The ZenFone 5z features a 6.2″ Full HD+ Super IPS+ notched display and it is powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor. The rear gets a 12MP f/1.8 + 8MP f/2.0 dual-camera setup, while the front comes with an 8MP f/2.0 selfie shooter. Powering the device is a 3,300mAh battery which supports fast charging via USB-C. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with ZenUI 5.0 out of the box.
