OPPO Malaysia slashed prices for its selfie-centric smartphones

For the month of July, OPPO is revising the price for three of its selfie-centric smartphones in Malaysia. This includes its entry-level “Full Screen” smartphone and the OPPO F7‘s top of the line 128GB model.

The OPPO A83 which was originally introduced in Malaysia at RM999 is now retailing at only RM699. Meanwhile, the OPPO F5 which was launched late last year at RM1,298 is now reduced to RM999. Both the A83 and F5 are powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 processor with a 5.7″ HD+ and 6.0″ FullHD+ display respectively. The A83 gets 3GB RAM with 32GB of storage, a 8MP f/2.2 front camera with AI beautification and a main 13MP f/2.2 rear shooter. For the standard OPPO F5, it gets 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 20MP f/2.0 selfie camera and a 16MP f/1.8 main camera.

If you’re looking for something more powerful, the OPPO F7 128GB edition which also comes with 6GB RAM is now going for RM1,599. That’s RM100 off from its original launch price. In terms of specs, the OPPO F7 128GB gets a larger 6.23″ Full HD+ display, a more powerful and frugal MediaTek Helio P60 processor, a higher resolution 25MP f/2.0 selfie camera and a 16MP f/1.8 rear shooter. On top of that, it gets the latest Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.0 skin on top.
