In a bid to encourage usage of its mobile wallet, Touch ‘n Go is now offering 10% cashback when you pay for utility bills on your smartphone. The Touch ‘n Go app is a QR-code based mobile wallet and it’s a separate system from their physical cards.
For this promotion, a minimum bill payment of RM100 will give you RM10 of cashback, while a minimum bill payment of RM150 gives you RM15 of cashback. The cashback offer is valid from 18 May until 17 June 2018 and it’s applicable to both new and existing Touch ‘n Go app users.
The app lets you pay for prepaid top ups (Digi, Hotlink, Xpax, U Mobile, Tune Talk, XOX, ALTEL, Merchantrade), postpaid (Maxis, Celcom, U Mobile, Yes, RedONE), flights (Airpaz), Tenaga Nasional Berhad and ASTRO. While Touch ‘n Go didn’t provide a list of eligible payees for this cashback offer, we are guessing that it’s probably applicable for actual bills issued by TNB, Astro and postpaid telcos.
Do note that each individual is only entitled to one cashback throughout the campaign. The cashback amount will be credited to your Touch ‘n Go app within 5 business days from the transaction date. You can refer the full T&C here.
To reload, you can do so via credit/debit card, online banking or TNG Reload PIN that can be purchased at selected hypermarkets, convenience stores and petrol stations. You can reload in smaller denominations of RM10, RM20 and RM50, for debit cards and online banking, however, credit card reloads are limited to multiple denominations of RM100.
