UPDATE: OnePlus 6 with official Malaysian warranty is also available for pre-order.

The OnePlus 6 was announced last week and it’s now a grown-up flagship that comes with a premium build. If this is the smartphone you’ve been waiting for, you may soon be able to buy one in Malaysia in the next couple of days.

Retailer DirectD will be offering a total of 6 variants of the OnePlus 6. The Chinese version with the model A6000 can be yours from RM2,399 which comes flashed with global ROM. If you prefer the international variant, price starts from RM2,499 and it runs with OxygenOS out of the box. Below is the full pricing from DirectD:

China Version
6GB RAM + 64GB Storage (Mirror Black) RM2,399
8GB RAM + 128GB Storage (Mirror Black) – RM2,699
8GB RAM + 256GB Storage (Midnight Black) – RM2,899

International Version
6GB RAM + 64GB Storage (Mirror Black) RM2,499
8GB RAM + 128GB Storage (Mirror Black/Midnight Black) RM2,799
8GB RAM + 256GB Storage (Midnight Black) – RM2,999

The Chinese OnePlus 6 set will come with a flat 2 prong charger while the international unit comes with a 3-pin brick. Another thing to note is that these are imported units and they are covered by DirectD’s 1-year in-house warranty.

To recap on the specs, the OnePlus 6 comes with a 6.28″ FullHD+ Optic AMOLED display and it runs on a Snapdragon 845 processor. You can get it with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage which isn’t expandable. Over at the rear, it features a dual 16MP + 20MP main cameras that has OIS with f/1.7 aperture lens. For selfies, it gets a 16MP f/2.0 front shooter.

Powering the OnePlus 6 is a 3,300mAh battery and it supports 5V4A fast charging via USB-C. There’s also a headphone jack and some kind of water resistance that doesn’t have an IP rating. You can learn more in our announcement post.

If you’re interested, you can head over to DirectD’s OnePlus 6 page.

UPDATE: Official OnePlus 6 units with Malaysian warranty will be available in early June 2018. Pre-orders are now available.
