The Meizu M6s with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor is now available in Malaysia

The Meizu M6s is a sub-RM700 18:9 smartphone and it’s finally here in Malaysia. Unlike other smartphones in this price range, the M6s comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that unlocks at a touch.

The device features a 5.7″ HD+ display that does a resolution of 1440×720. Underneath its metal body is a 14nm Exynos 7872 processor which is quite similar to the Exynos 7886 processor on Galaxy A8 (2018) series but it gets just 6 cores and has a lower clock speed. The device comes with 3GB of RAM and we’re getting the 32GB storage variant which is expandable via microSD card.

Over at the rear, it gets a 16MP f/2.0 main camera and a front facing 8MP f/2.0 shooter for selfies. Powering the device is a 3,000mAh battery and it supports Meizu’s 18W mCharge fast charging feature via microUSB.

If you’re interested, the M6s is priced at RM699 and it’s available at DirectD and other authorised retail outlets. Meizu Malaysia is also offering a free gift box for early bird customers.
