The Meizu M6s with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor is now available in Malaysia

The Meizu M6s is a sub-RM700 18:9 smartphone and it’s finally here in Malaysia. Unlike other smartphones in this price range, the M6s comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that unlocks at a touch.

The device features a 5.7″ HD+ display that does a resolution of 1440×720. Underneath its metal body is a 14nm Exynos 7872 processor which is quite similar to the Exynos 7886 processor on Galaxy A8 (2018) series but it gets just 6 cores and has a lower clock speed. The device comes with 3GB of RAM and we’re getting the 32GB storage variant which is expandable via microSD card.

Over at the rear, it gets a 16MP f/2.0 main camera and a front facing 8MP f/2.0 shooter for selfies. Powering the device is a 3,000mAh battery and it supports Meizu’s 18W mCharge fast charging feature via microUSB.
