Xiaomi’s 360 camera and dashcam are now available on the official Mi Store

Apart from smartphones, the official Malaysian Mi Store is now carrying more products which was previously only available through grey importers. The latest to hit the store is the Mi Sphere Camera and the Mi Dashcam that come with local warranty.

Mi Sphere Camera Kit

The Mi Sphere Camera is a 360 camera which lets you capture 360-degree photos up to 23.88MP and videos of up to 3.5K resolution. It has two wide-angle Sony IMX 206 cameras with a 190-degree field of view.

Using an Ambarella A12 ISP, it can capture 360-degree videos in 3456 × 1728 resolution at 30fps or 2304 × 1152 resolution in 60fps. For steadier recording, it has a 6-axis EIS.

For protection against the elements, it even has IP67 dust and water resistance. Powering the Sphere camera is a 1,600mAh battery which can support QuickCharge 2.0 charging via microUSB. The camera is controlled via an app and it supports Bluetooth 4.0 as well as 802.11b/g/n WiFi.

Out of the box, you get the Mi Sphere Camera, a Tripod, and a USB Cable. The Mi Sphere Camera Kit is officially priced at RM1,198 at the Mi Store on Lazada Malaysia.

Mi Dashcam

The next product is their very own dash camera. It uses a Sony IMX323 sensor and Mstar 1080p imaging chip which records at FullHD resolution. It has a 160-degree wide-angle lens and an f/1.8 aperture. Over at the back, it gets a 3.0″ LCD display for preview and menu navigation.

The Mi Dashcam has its own built-in mic, speakers and a 240mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it supports 802.11 b/g/n WiFi. Out of the box, you get the dashcam, a 3.5m long USB cable, a windscreen sticker, a camera holder and a USB car charger.

If you’re interested, the Dashcam is going for RM248 on the official store with no microSD card included.
