Some people are suckers for limited edition products. Doesn’t matter if they look good, if it’s rare, these people will want it. Well, this time there’s good news because not only is Samsung‘s new limited edition Galaxy Note8 rare, it’s also a beaut.
Built in conjunction with the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics that will take place next month, this limited edition version of one of 2017s best smartphones will don a gorgeous new white and gold suit. Clearly styled to fit the whole winter theme, the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Games Limited Edition Galaxy Note8 also sports a matching white and gold S Pen! This phone also has the Olympic’s iconic gold rings near the bottom of the handset.
As far as specs are concerned, they’re identical to that of the current Galaxy Note8 so there’s nothing new here. However, this phone will be loaded with Olympic-themed wallpapers.
There is a small catch: You can’t have one. Samsung, at least for now, will only deliver over 4,000 of these phones to all the Olympians as well as the PyeongChang Olympic family. There’s no information on whether these devices will be sold to the general public. However, Samsung did make the Rio Olympics Galaxy S7 edge available in selected markets so who knows.
