Tronsmart’s making fast-charging easy with their brand new accessories

In the past, fast-charging was something you could only find on flagship smartphones. Unless you’re on iPhone, but even Apple’s caught up there too. The beauty of technology is that as time goes on, these “flagship features” start trickling down to the smartphone range.

As more people gain access to handsets that have fast-charging, the demand for fast-charging grows and that’s where third-party accessory makers like Aukey and Anker thrive — what with all the recommendations from popular YouTubers.

Then there’s Tronsmart, which is a brand that doesn’t really get as much coverage as the others do. But, in my experience they make some solid products.

I was using one of their powerbanks last year which had support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0, charging via USB C, and a 12,000 mAh battery that’s all wrapped up in a light but sturdy body. It’s a shame then that I lost it in Barcelona (RIP).

However, today, the company officially launched a whole host of brand new quick-charge enabled devices that cover capacity, convenience, and gives you the ability to charge multiple devices at the same time.

The first “hero” product that they showed off was the Titan Plus 90W multi-port desktop charger (UT5F). This guy packs 90W output over 5 USB Type A ports. The Titan Plus supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 fast-charging across all 5 ports so you can hook up any of the QC3.0 compatible smartphones without worrying about which port you need to stick it in.

With Tronsmart’s VoltiQ technology, the Titan Plus can identify the amp and voltage that your smartphone requires and will adjust accordingly so you get the best charge possible. It also supports Huawei’s FCP fast-charging tech so you can even fast-charge compatible Huawei devices which don’t support Qualcomm’s standard.

Besides that, they’ve also got a product for those on the go. It’s called the Brio and it is a 20,100 mAh power bank that features two USB Type-A ports and a USB C port with Power Delivery (PD) 2.0. The USB C PD port can deliver up to 30W of power output to supported devices like Apple’s MacBook.

The two USB Type-A ports also support Tronsmart’s VoltiQ tech and you can charge three devices simultaneously with a max output of 54W.

Are you an Apple user who just picked up an iPhone 8/8 Plus or X and needs a new wireless charger? Tronsmart’s AirAmp is the device for you. It’s got dual coils so you can charge it in both portrait and landscape mode with no problems.

AirAmp has an output of either 5V/2A or 9V/1.8A and can charge any device that operates under the Qi standard. This means you can charge supported Android or iOS devices that support this standard (eg Samsung Galaxy Note8, S8, S8 Plus, etc.). It’s also got cooling vents at the back of the wireless charger so things don’t get too hot.

Finally, the last device that they showed off was the W2DT 48W USB Wall Charger. Not the sexiest of names but Tronsmart dubs it the “world’s most powerful wall charger. There are two output ports, one’s a USB Type-A port with support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 and Tronsmart’s VoltiQ tech. The second port is a USB Type C PD port that can deliver a total output of 30W.

This means you can charge laptops like the MacBook and also fast-charge QC3.0 devices plus non-QC smartphones like Apple’s iPhone.

One nice thing about this wall-charger is that you can remove the UK 3-pin head and flip out the US 2-pin head for use when you’re in a country that uses that standard.

Tronsmart’s Titan Plus will retail for RM209 and will go on sale on Christmas Day (25th of Dec). Their AirAmp wireless charger, on the other hand, is already available for purchase in Malaysia for RM199. The Brio powerbank and W2DT Wall Charger will be available in January 2018 for RM329 and RM179 respectively.

You can pick up these devices and more from any of the 100+ official Tronsmart retailers around the country including major retailers like All IT Hypermart, Mac Studio, Flash Gadgets and iGadget among others. Alternatively, you can buy them online too at Lazada Malaysia, 11street, Lelong, and Shopee MY.
