ASUS Malaysia introduces their FullView smartphone priced under RM900

Joining the “FullView” bandwagon is ASUS with their new ZenFone Max Plus (M1). It features a 5.7″ display in an 18:9 aspect ratio. As a result, you get a wider display in a 5.2” smartphone body. In addition, it also packs a dual-camera with wide-angle capabilities and a larger battery for less than RM900.

With a price tag of RM899, the ZenFone Max Plus comes with a HD 720p display that does a resolution of 1440×720. Under the hood, it runs on a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor that’s mated to 4GB RAM and has 32GB of onboard storage. It supports microSD card expansion up to 256GB and ASUS is also bundling 100GB of Google Drive storage for a year.

For imaging, the ZenFone Max Plus gets a main 16MP f/2.0 main camera with a secondary 8MP camera for 120-degree wide-angle shots. Over at the front you’ll find a 16MP f/2.0 shooter that comes with beautification and HDR capabilities.

Powering the device is 4,130mAh battery which is the biggest in its class. In terms of connectivity, it supports dual nano SIM with 4G LTE connectivity and it has its own dedicated microSD slot. Over at the back, it also gets a fingerprint sensor which unlocks in 0.3 seconds. Out of the box, it runs on ASUS ZenUI 4.0 that’s based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

If you’re interested, the ASUS ZenFone Max Plus will be available for pre-order on Lazada Malaysia from 14-19 December 2017 with stocks expected to arrive on 20 December. As an added bonus, pre-order customers will also get an exclusive RM200 cash rebate voucher for your next purchase.
