The RM6,999 PORSCHE DESIGN Huawei Mate 10 lands in Malaysia next week

For those who want to stand out from the crowd, the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10 will be available in Malaysia in limited quantities starting next week. It’s a premium variant of the Mate 10 Pro that comes with 256GB of storage plus extra accessories.

To differentiate itself from the standard Mate 10, the Porsche Design phone comes in an exclusive Diamond Black colour which gives it a ceramic-like appearance. The rest of the hardware remains unchanged with an 18:9 6″ Full View Display that comes with “PORSCHE DESIGN” engraved right below the screen. The Porsche Design phone also gets a custom PORSCHE-themed UI which has a different set of icons and wallpapers from the regular Mate 10.

It runs on a top of the line Kirin 970 processor with 6GB of RAM and it comes with the same 20MP + 12MP dual-camera system with f/1.6 lenses. Powering the device is a large 4,000mAh battery that supports Huawei’s 5V4A SuperCharge feature via a USB Type-C port.

Out of the box, it runs on EMUI 8.0 that’s based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The Porsche Design Mate 10 is also dust and water resistant with an IP67 rating.

Inside the box, you’ll get two SuperCharge chargers, a custom-made leather case and also a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter. The Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10 is priced at RM6,999 which is the same price tag as last year’s Porsche Design model. It will be available in Malaysia starting 8 December onwards at Huawei Experience Stores and Display Zones.

If you prefer to get it on contract, Celcom is offering the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10 at selected Blue Cube stores.
