Creative Sound Blaster is back!

After a very long hiatus, Creative is once again back in Malaysia and they’re bringing a whole slew of new products with them.

For those who don’t remember the brand, Creative was well known for their Sound Blaster brand and audio products; and while they’ve been away, the brand has been continuting to grow their product line. So here’s some of the new stuff they have in store for us.

Sound BlasterX Katana

Made for gamers who want the best sound possible, the Sound BlasterX Katana is a 2.1 channel soundbar with a powerful 24-bit high-resolution audio processor. Capable of realistic virtual 5.1 surround sound thanks to its certified Dolby Digital decoder, the device is also crafted and reinforced with a brushed aluminum panel and has a slim profile of 2.5 inches to boot.

The device is also home to a 5-driver design that comprises of two up-firing 2.5” midbass drivers and two 1.3” high-excursion tweeters, coupled with a 5.25” long-throw driver in its subwoofer. Combine this with the Katana’s Aurora Reactive Lighting System with proggrammable LEDs, and you got something that looks and sounds good.

Outlier Sports wireless in-ear headphones

Made for those who enjoy working out or just being active in general, the Outlier Sports is an IPX 4 sweatproof, wireless-in ear earphones with AuraSeal silicone eartips to ensure the headphones stay put while you’re out and active.

Capable of lasting for up to 11 hours of playback on a single charge, the device is also available in three colours; Neon Green, Fiery Orange and Midnight Blue.

Creative iRoar Go

Sporting the world’s smallest and lightest 5-driver speaker system, the device is by no means quiet, despite its size. Built in with a huge 5,200mAh battery that can deliver up to 12 hours of playtime, it can even keep phones and tablets charged. On top of that, the device is water resistant up toIPX, and supports playback of lossless FLAC, WAV, Bluetooth and NFC. Of course, it can be used on your PC or Mac too, so it’s quite versatile.

MUVO 2c splashproof Bluetooth Speaker

Colourful and splashproof, the Creative MUVO 2c is one of those audio devices that’s perfectly safe to use in the home, by the pool or even in the shower, with an IP66 dust and splashproof rating. Featuring a in-house tuned full-range driver and an oversize passive woofer, the device also supports up to 6 hours of playtime and can be hooked up to another MUVO 2c speaker wirelessly to amplify the experience.

It can also answer phone calls and play songs stored on a microSD card, and can even be controlled from your phone. The MUVO 2c is currently available in Black, Red, Blue and Green.

NUNO Micro Bluetooth speaker

Last but not least is the Creative NUNO Micro, whose name is derived from the Japanese word for woven cloth. A simple device that fits into your palm, the NUNO Micro is great for audio streaming and can be used as a speakerphone for phone calls. It supports up to 4 hours of playback too and can be hooked up to any audio device via the aux-in port.
