You can now get the Xperia X for less than RM1,000

If you’ve been wanting to snag yourself one of Sony‘s Xperia X smartphones, DirectD is now offering the device at a pretty cool price point.

DirectD is now offering the smartphone for just RM 999, which is a pretty huge price drop for a device that was launched in early 2016.

The phone was originally retailing at RM2,499 at launch. This essentially makes it the most expensive mid-range device you could buy and it pretty much doomed it from the moment it was released.

Under the hood, the smartphone has a Snapdragon 650 processor, 23MP rear camera (doesn’t do 4K though), 13MP selfie camera, 3GB RAM as well as 64GB storage. Unfortunately, it isn’t even water resistant like many of Sony’s smartphones but you will get a one-year warranty from Sony Malaysia.

But for RM999 you have a literal plethora of newer mid-range smartphones to choose from like the Moto G5s Plus and the Xiaomi Mi A1, would you still go for this device? let us know in the comments.
