The possibilities are endless for the Moto Z series thanks to its modular Moto Mod platform. Now Motorola has introduced its latest Mod which adds a Polaroid Insta-Share Printer onto your smartphone. Instead of having to carry a separate Bluetooth printer, you can snap and print photos in one seamless device.
The Polaroid Insta-Share Printer Moto Mod costs US$199.99 (about RM835) and it prints actual Polaroid photos in real time. It uses Polaroid’s 2×3″ ZINK Zero-Ink Papers which are smudge-proof and has tear-resistant peel-off stickers at the back.
Not only it can be used for instant shots, you can also print existing photos from your Facebook, Instagram and Google Photos. On top of that, you could add filters, borders and text to your photos before you print them out.
The Moto Mod itself weighs 188 grams and it has a 500mAh battery which charges via USB Type-C. According to the spec-sheet, the Mod can hold 10 sheets of Premium ZINK paper and it can do 20 prints on a single charge. A pack of 20 photos costs US$9.99 (about RM42). The Polaroid Insta-Share Printer will be available at Verizon in the US first and it will be on sale globally in the coming months.
