DJI has announced a limited edition variant of its compact Mavic Pro which comes in an all-white design. Just in time for the holiday season, the Mavic Pro Alpine White will only be available exclusively at Apple.com as well as Apple Stores in most countries.
The drone itself is same as the standard version and it comes with a bundle that includes a remote control, two extra batteries, two extra pairs of propellers and an aircraft sleeve. It retails for US$1,049 (about RM4,384). As a comparison, the standard Mavic Pro is officially priced in the US at US$999 (about RM4,175) for the standard kit and US$1,299 (about RM5,429) for the Fly More Combo.
Almost every exterior component is in white including the propellers and the remote control. To recap, the DJI Mavic Pro has a 12MP 4K capable camera mounted on a 3-axis gimbal. It has a rated flight time of 27 minutes on a single charge. The Mavic Pro has a flight distance of 13KM and a maximum flight speed of 65km/h.
If you’re looking for something better, DJI had earlier introduced a Mavic Pro Platinum edition that’s tweaked for lower noise and better battery life. With a new electronic speed controller (ESC), the Platinum Edition gets a 30 minute flight time and a maximum flight distance of 15KM. The propellers have also been redesigned and it helps to reduce noise by 60%. The Platinum Edition is priced at US$1,099 (about RM4,590) while the Fly More Combo is priced at US$1,399 (about RM5,844).
