In lieu of the recent floods in Penang, Samsung Malaysia is offering a hand to their customers in the form of free repair services for Samsung appliances and devices damaged by the floods.
The Samsung Flood Relief Campaign consists of inspection, cleaning and repair services as well as parts replacement courtesy of the brand. Customers will be able to bring in affected appliances and devices over the next two months and Samsung will get them fixed free of charge to help them get back their lives back on track.
From now until December 31st 2017, selected Samsung Service Centers in Penang and Kedah will be open for receiving the damaged products. All they need to do is call in at the Samsung care-line at 1800-22-8899 (for mobile devices) or 1800-88-9999 (for other products) to book an appointment. Samsung authorised technicians will then make house visits to inspect the affected products if applicable.
For Carry In Products (like mobile devices, microwaves, vacuum cleaners, home audio and TVs below 29 inches) customers will need to bring in the afflicted products themselves.
The full details and locations of the Service Centers can be viewed here.
