honor’s next phone is basically an affordable version of the Mate 10 Pro

The upcoming honor V10 or honor 9 Pro has had its specs revealed by TENAA and so far they’re looking kinda like that of the Mate 10 Pro.

As of the moment, the Mate 10 phones are on the top of Huawei’s list of more powerful devices (but minus the atrocious pricetag) but it looks like a new contender for the spot is coming.

As for the specs, the device will have a pretty big 6″ screen with 18:9 aspect ratio like the Mate 10 Pro, a Kirin 970 chipset mated to 6GB RAM and Android 8.0 Oreo skinned with EMUI 8.0 out of the box. Potential customers will also have the choice between 64GB or 128GB storage. The back of the device will be home to a 16MP +20MP dual camera sporting the same hardware as the Leica camera but sans some software features.

No word on the battery life as of the moment but the device will get fast charge (22.5W).

As for the price, the device is cheaper than the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, with an estimated retail price of CNY 3,000 (about RM1914) which is much more affordable versus the Mate 10’s CNY 3,999 price tag (about RM2551).

Also, a leaked render for the device has also popped up. It seems somewhat featureless from the front but the phone appears to be near bezel-less, and that’s a good thing. The frame hints at a rose gold (or pink) colour variant.

We’re expecting the device to launch on the company’s December event, so hopefully more will be revealed soon.
