iPhone X officially goes on sale in Malaysia on 24 November

This is it. We finally got a date for the iPhone X release in Malaysia. Shortly after its debut in first wave countries, the iPhone X will be available in Malaysia beginning 24 November 2017.

The iPhone X is officially priced at RM5,149 for the 64GB model and RM5,899 for the larger 256GB option. It will come in Space Grey or Silver.

As usual, you can expect our 4 telcos to offer the iPhone X on contract while standalone units would be available via Apple authorised resellers. No details on pre-order yet but it could be available as early as next Friday.

Compared to the iPhone 8 Plus, the iPhone X comes with a 5.8″ Super Retina HD OLED display. Gone is its iconic home button with Touch ID and it is replaced by Apple’s new Face ID feature.

The rest of the internals are similar to the iPhone 8 Plus but its dual camera system is slightly different from the iPhone 8 Plus. While the main camera is a 12MP f/1.8 shooter, the secondary telephoto lens has a larger f/2.4 aperture and it comes with dual OIS for steadier shots while zooming in. For the front, the 7MP f/2.2 TrueDepth camera has portrait mode and it also enables the new Animoji feature on the iPhone X. Like the latest iPhone 8, it also has wireless charging support and IP67 dust and water resistance.

So, are you getting the iPhone X? In the meantime, check out our iPhone X Unboxing.
