Maxis NeXT X1: All in one hassle-free phone experience from RM98/month

Maxis has introduced its second all-in-one 4G postpaid device offering with its new NeXT X1. This is an upgraded product compared to its previous NeXT M1 as it comes with a better phone and with more data.

The NeXT X1 comes with an all-in-one price of RM98/month for duration of 24-months. You get a phone plus a postpaid plan that gives you 3GB (all-day) and 3GB weekend Data. If you need more, Maxis offers mobile internet passes at RM4 per GB. Also included is 50 minutes of calls to all networks.

In terms of device, the NeXT X1 comes with a 5.5” Full HD IPS display and it runs on a Snapdragon 435 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. If you need more, it also accepts microSD card expansion.

The NeXT X1 features a 16MP main camera and a front facing 8MP selfie shooter. It is juiced up by a 3,000mAh battery that charges via microUSB. The device is running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and it comes with a screen protector and case.

The biggest highlight is its hassle-free ownership experience. It comes with 24 months warranty with one to one swap policy and 12 months screen crack protection. So if your device has a defect, you can walk in and have it replaced immediately. There’s no need to wait for repairs and you get a new replacement on the spot. For screen crack claims, it is one time only and it goes through a repair process.
