The biggest feature of the iPhone X is its Face ID. Using a sophisticated TrueDepth camera system, Apple claims that the probability of someone else unlocking your phone is 1 in 1,000,000. As a comparison, Touch ID has a higher probability of 1 in 50,000.
So what if you have a twin brother or sister? There’s only one way to find out.
The folks at Mashable had an iPhone X and they have tested it with two pairs of identical twins. From the video above, turns out that you can actually fool the iPhone X if you have someone that looks almost exactly like you.
So if you’re living with an evil twin and having trust issues, you could turn to the old school passcode or just get an iPhone with Touch ID. Apparently, two people can’t have identical fingerprints, not even twins. The prints might look similar but there would always be subtle differences to make each fingerprint unique.
