The Nokia 2 just got its specifications leaked via an AnTuTu benchmark listing and the entry-level smartphone also might be the cheapest device to be output by the Finnish company.
The as of yet unannounced Nokia 2 is an entry-level headset that we’re expecting to drop sometime in early 2018, though there’s also the possibility the company will reveal the phone by the end of the same year.
Previously the phone was revealed by leakster Evan Blass, revealing press renders for the upcoming phone. Now, thanks to this Antutu benchmark, we have a glimpse at what’s under the hood.
First off, the Nokia 2 will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor, mated to 1GB RAM and 8GB expandable storage. The display sports a 720p resolution, thought we don’t know the exact dimensions as of yet. As for the cameras, the Nokia 2 will have a 8MP primary snapper at the back while the front camera will be a 5MP shooter. Last but not least, the phone will ship with Android 7.1.1 out of the box.
No real word on the battery though, but previous reports pointed at a pretty gigantic 4,000 mAh battery.
Price wise, the phone is estimated to cost more than USD$100 (about RM423) which will put it somewhere around the under RM500 bracket. In comparison, Nokia’s current cheapest, the Nokia 3 is priced at RM599. Hopefully, more will be revealed soon.
