ASUS ZenFone 4 now on sale in Malaysia

If you’ve been looking for a new mid-range smartphone there is good news because a brand new contender has hit the Malaysian market. ASUS’ ZenFone 4 is finally on sale, for real, locally.

This handset was launched earlier this year and it was interesting because it came packing a dual-camera setup at the back of the device. Unlike the smartphones from Samsung, Apple or Huawei, ASUS decided to include a secondary wide-angle lens instead of a zoom or monochrome sensor.

As a result, the ZenFone 4 features a 12-megapixel f/1.8 aperture standard camera and an 8MP wide-angled secondary camera (120-degrees). It also features an 8-megapixel selfie shooter in front for the times where you want to shoot yourself instead.

Besides that, the ZeFone 4 comes packing a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display pushing a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Inside, the handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor that’s mated to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. If 64GB of storage isn’t enough, you can expand it further with a microSD card for up to 2TB of additional space.

The handset is powered by a 3,300 mAh battery, with support for fast charging, that’s wrapped up in a nice glass and metal body. It will also come running Android Nougat out of the box.

ASUS’ new smartphone is priced at RM2,099 and can be purchased at authorised ASUS retailers nationwide. You can also check out the ASUS Online Store on Lazada.
