You can pre-order the iPhone 8 in Malaysia beginning tomorrow, 13 October 2017 and it will be released officially next week on 20 October 2017. Ahead of its pre-order day, Celcom has revealed its full postpaid contract plans and also the full retail price for the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are offered from as low as RM1,748 and RM2,188 with its FIRST Postpaid contract plans. Based on Celcom’s listed iPhone 8 RRP before GST and a RM660 price difference between the 64GB and 256GB models, it appears that the Malaysian full retail price with 6% GST would be as follows:
iPhone 8/8 Plus Malaysian Pricing
iPhone 8 64GB – RM3,599
iPhone 8 256GB – RM4,299
iPhone 8 Plus 64GB – RM4,099
iPhone 8 Plus 256GB – RM4,799
Overall, that’s RM100 more than our initial iPhone 8 Malaysian price prediction. Compared to Singapore, the retail price is slightly higher by about RM20-35 if converted directly. Take note that these figures are based on Celcom’s listed RRP and there’s a possibility it could be different from Apple Malaysia’s official pricing.
