Fire breaks out at Mid Valley Megamall

At approximately 7.30pm, a fire had broke out at Mid Valley Megamall in Kuala Lumpur. Shoppers are currently being evacuated from the mall for their safety.

It is believed that the source of the fire is from the food court located at the South Court of the mall. According to our sources on ground, sprinklers are being activated at the parking areas including basement floors.

8.15PM – Shoppers are now allowed into the mall. The fire appears to have been extinguished.

8.25PM – The fire appears to have started from a convenience store located on LG floor. There are no casualties reported.

8.40PM – If you were watching a movie at GSC, you can claim for a refund later. Claims can be made within 7 days.

8.50PM – The Gardens parking is not affected.

10.30AM 8 October – They have sealed the entrance of the convenience store.
