The iPhone 8 / 8 Plus will be officially available in Malaysia on 20 October 2017. U Mobile will be among the first to offer both iPhone models from day one. To secure the device in advance, you can place your pre-order with them beginning next week.
Historically, U Mobile has one of the lowest monthly commitment plans when it comes to iPhone contract bundles. Unlike most telcos, U Mobile is offering the device on their postpaid and prepaid offering. If you don’t wish to pay anything upfront, there are instalment plans for both credit card and non-credit card holders via its UPackage and U MicroCredit options.
The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus now come in either 64GB and 256GB storage capacities along with 3 colour options – Silver, Gold and Space Grey. The official pricing for Malaysia has yet to be revealed but we reckon it could be priced from RM3,499 for the base iPhone 8 64GB model.
