The OPPO R9s gets a RM200 price cut in Malaysia

The OPPO R9s is now getting a price reduction in Malaysia. Initially priced at RM1,798, this photography/selfie-centric smartphone is now going for only RM1,598.

Launched earlier this year, the OPPO R9s is a 5.5″ Full HD smartphone that comes with a full metal unibody design. Under the hood, it is powered by a frugal Snapdragon 625 processor that’s mated to 4GB of RAM. On board, it comes with 64GB of storage which is expandable via microSD.

The main highlight is its 16MP f/1.7 rear camera that comes with dual-PDAF focusing technology. Meanwhile, the front gets a 16MP f/2.0 selfie shooter that comes with OPPO’s beautification features. Keeping the R9s running is a 3,010mAh battery which can charge quickly with OPPO’s VOOC Flash charger.

The R9s is currently available in Gold, Black and in limited edition Green. On top of that, OPPO is giving away free Olike Back Shell Case (random colour) + Tempered Glass worth RM79 while stocks last.
