Looking for a smartwatch but you’re on a budget? The Xiaomi-backed Huami Amazfit may be the wearable for you.
Launched in 2016, the Amazfit smartwatch has quite the feature set. In front, you’ll find a 1.34″ 320×300 pixel LCD touch display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass on top plus a ceramic bezel for better protection. Under the hood, it’s got a 1.2GHz processor with 4GB of onboard storage and 512MB of RAM. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi.
You can also use it for fitness tracking as the watch comes with built-in GPS, heart-rate monitor, and IP67 dust and water resistance. It also integrates with fitness app Strava so you can view your health stats via the Strava application. Since it has 4GB of onboard storage, you can actually transfer music directly to the wearable and listen to it from there via Bluetooth headphones.
Naturally, it’ll track your usual fitness stats like steps, heart rate, distance, calories and sleep, but it also can send you smart notifications for calls, messages and emails. The Amazfit also features an always-on display that the company says is easily readable even under bright sunlight.
The Amazfit smartwatch is now available for purchase in Malaysia via DirectD with official local warranty by Xiaomi Malaysia. It is priced at RM629. If you’re interested, you can head to this website for more information.
