Start microwaving that popcorn because Disney’s content is coming to iflix

Remember when Disney announced that they were pulling their content from Netflix? The silver lining there was that it doesn’t really affect us in Malaysia, but there’s even more good news and that’s because Disney’s content is now available on iflix.

Yep, this takes advantage of iflix’s new Channels feature which bundles content into individual channels, sort of like how traditional TV does things. Although the Channels feature is currently only available on mobile and web (Android TV coming soon), you still get access to the new content which includes stuff from Marvel Studios, Disney-Pixar, and Disney.

In addition to the current catalogue of content, iflix says that they will be adding even more shows from Disney come January 2018. Content that includes movies like Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Captain America: Civil War, Ant Man, The Jungle Book, Zootopia, Tangled, Finding Dory, The Incredibles and a bunch more.

Children-friendly content like Disney Junior’s Sofia the First, Star Wars Rebels and Disney XD’s Guardians of the Galaxy will also be available with iflix.

Besides that, Disney will be extending their distribution deal for ABC Studios’ TV series like Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds, Devious Maids, Quantico, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Once Upon a Time and more.
