HTC updates the U11 to improve video recording capabilites

HTC is bolstering their 2017 U11 flagship’s video capabilities by adding a brand new feature to their smartphone that it probably should have shipped with in the first place.

The Taiwanese company will be rolling out an update to the HTC U11 which will grant it 60fps video recording at 1080p Full HD resolution. There’s no 60fps recording for 4K video recording, however. This new update will be rolling out to “devices everywhere” over the “next couple of months”. Not the most predictable time frame but I suppose it’s better than “soon”.

The HTC U11 already has an impressive camera, one that’s highly rated by both us and the boffins over at DxOMark so this addition can only do it good. In any case, keep your eyes peeled for this new update and let us know what you think in the comments below!
