ASUS will be launching its new ZenFone 4 series very soon. This is their 4th generation smartphone series which is not to be confused with their first generation entry-level ZenFone 4 from 2014.
After going upmarket with better build quality and hardware on the ZenFone 3 series, ASUS wants to step up its photography prowess on the ZenFone 4.
Looking at the 4 teasers released by ASUS, the next ZenFone 4 is hinted to come with dual-cameras that boast clearer and closer details. One of such devices is the ZenFone 4V which is speculated to come with a dual-camera system that provides a wide angle lens that’s similar to the LG G6 and LG V20. Earlier this month, ASUS has already introduced the ZenFone 4 Max that comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery and dual 13MP cameras that offer a 120-degree field of view.
The new ZenFones are expected to be announced next month and you can expect ASUS to introduce several models to cover different segments. Apparently, some of the ZenFone 4 series were already spotted on Taiwan’s NCC certification database. This includes a top of the line ZenFone 4 Pro, ZenFone 4 Selfie and two different ZenFone 4 variants which probably differ in screen size and battery.
